I have a love/hate relationship with being productive. At times, I can be a bit too engaged with getting things done, accomplishing, ticking off lists. Sometimes, my expectations can be too high and I feel piffy for beating myself up. I made that word up, by the way. Piffy.
On the other hand, do you know how good it feels to cross something off a list for someone who breathes productivity? So, having the ability to make a collage (thanks Canva) of all the books I read this year feels like warm hot chocolate in front of a fire with snow pounding outside. It feels GOOD! I feel productive.
2016 was a great year for being productive. I wrote my third novel and landed myself a top-notch, real-life literary agent. I’m so excited to see what 2017 brings.
But for now, I’ll stare lovingly at my 2016 books-read collage. What have you read this year that you loved?
