I am beyond pleased to announce my two-book publishing deal with St. Martin’s Press!
They will be publishing my novel THE SUBWAY GIRLS* in the spring of 2018 and my next novel** a year later. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to work with such a well-regarded and historic publishing house, and I’m looking forward to embarking on this new chapter in my career.
I have had so many incredible experiences since I started writing novels six years ago, and while there have been challenges along the way, there have also been moments of pure joy. I have learned so much throughout the entire journey, and I am thankful for each step that has led to today.
*THE SUBWAY GIRLS was not the original title of this book. It was actually MISS SUBWAYS, but David Duchovny (yes, Agent Mulder) recently sold a supernatural book to Farrar called MISS SUBWAYS so we had to go in a different direction. I love the new title, though.
THE SUBWAY GIRLS introduces readers to the fascinating and glamorous NYC Miss Subways advertising campaign through a dual-timeline narrative featuring a 1949 Miss Subways contestant and a modern-day advertising executive whose careers and lives intersect.
I have been working on a new novel called SUNSHINE MOUNTAIN. There’s a woman, and a secret, and a couples hiking trip, and a disaster, and… you’ll just have to wait to know the rest. This may or may not be my next published novel. I’ll keep you posted.
I’m about to start a round of revisions on THE SUBWAY GIRLS and then it’s on to the cover reveal, marketing and PR planning, ARCS, and then launch. I’ll also start writing my next novel in earnest this summer. So much to look forward to, I can hardly stand it.
Thank you to my dear friends and readers for all your wonderful support. And a huge thanks to my incredible agent Carly Watters of P.S. Literary. I am truly grateful!!!
